Non-conventional architect blurring the line between sculpture and buildings with consideration for environmental preservation. Also he's an old-school outspoken convention-flouting weirdo and I dig it. He doesn't have to be great he just has to be different with consideration for others and the environment. • The story of the beginning of the partnership between Pininfarina and Ferrari. Both Enzo Ferrari and Battista Farina's ego had foiled Battista's son Sergio's previous attempts to get them to meet but finally they agreed to have lunch halfway between Turin and Moderna in Tortona. The lunch went great and began one of the longest and most fruitful collaborations in automobile history. [link] . • GOODBYE, DRAGON INN by Ming-liang Tsai. Beautiful movie about the space, people, and feeling movie theaters possess. The scene with the woman eating nuts. The cracking sound! Like the idea of a movie theater as a listless refuge space where wanderers end up.
